Alarm Annunciator
In any plant, when a process parameter goes to abnormal limit, the operator has to be alerted immediately, so that he can take corrective actions to bring the parameter back to normal. And also when the parameter returns to normal, the operator should know it. This task of calling the operator attention in such conditions is accomplished by alarm annunciation system.
LAKSHMI INSTRUMENTS & AUTOMATIONs, ANNUNCIATOR is an Microcontroller based Alarm Annunciator. This Annunciator has the operating sequences RESET, TEST, MUTE, ACK as input and Individual Indication for each Channel for status Indication. It has three Models as Table, Panel Mounting & Wall Mounting with Window Indicator & LED Version. This Annunciator has the facility to interact with computer for Data logging and Data retrieval and Data Analysis through Visual Basic Graphic User Interface Programming Technique. By adopting modular design combined with latest embedded technology based on Piggy back arrangement. High noise immunity is provided at every stage of development and consumes very low power, hence ideally suited for all industrial environments. Use of Microcontroller has the greatly reduced the number of components. Long life LED’s have been used.
